Bad Story, Happy Ending is the third full length and first major label studio album by Israeli punk band Useless ID, originally released on June 12 2001. It is the bands first
album on the Kung Fu label.
The album was produced by The Ataris singer / guitarist Kris Roe and was recorded at Orange Whip Studios in Santa Barbara, California in 2001 with Roe contributing additional guitars and sound effects, and the Ataris cellist Angus Cooke contributing cello.
It was the bands first worldwide successful album as it was the first album to be released in the US bringing the band their worldwide recognition. Band Members have also stated that it’s the album that showcases their current musical style, as it is more pop punk then their previously hardcore influenced albums.
It is being remastered by Bill Stevenson at the Blasting Room, reissued on vinyl for the first time on Sbäm Records with brand new artwork.
